Sex Pistols artist announces exhibition Jamie Reid to display private collection20.Mar.07Jamie Reid, the artist who designed the cover of the Sex Pistols single 'God Save The Queen', has announced details of a career-spanning exhibition. Reid was at art college with Sex Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren, and soon began designing sleeves and posters for the punks. His doctored image of the Queen, with a safety pin through her lips and swastikas in her eyes, became an iconic symbol of punk. The image was used on the cover of the Sex Pistols 1977 single, which was released to coincide with the Queen's Golden Jubilee. The exhibition - 'May Day May Day' - will take place at The Aquarium L-13 on 63 Farringdon Road in London between May 1 and June 9.

Me too... I went to a Sid Vicious photo exhibition in London some years back. Excellent stuff.
