Sex Pistols too scared to tourSex Pistols frontman John Lydon has played down rumours the legendary punk band are set to reform again - because he suffers from severe stagefright. The band are rumoured to be getting back together again for a series of shows in Japan, but Lydon claims he is not too keen on the idea because the last Sex Pistols tour 10 years ago made him sick with nerves. Speaking on a Los Angeles radio show hosted by Pistols guitarist Steve Jones, Lydon said: "I miss the Pistols. I miss the lot of you, but when I came home from the last tour I couldn't get adjusted. "I felt really out of place it took me a long time to get back to a real way of life. "On tour, it was 12 hours of panic for an hour-and-a-half gig. I'm vomiting all day long with fear, stagefright, whatever it is." Jones also revealed the band had been put off touring by a bad experience at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark a decade ago. He said: "We went on and there was one little mob that kept slinging these big cider bottles at us so we left after four songs. That was the worst gig ever." Lydon added: "I ain't gonna get blinded by some coward getting away with that. If you're gonna pay money to go and blind someone you're the sort of person who needs to be put away for life."
