 Steve Jones on stage with the Runaways in Los Angeles 1978, celebrating Lita Ford's birthday.
The picture of Steve Jones and the Runaways also originally appeared in pop mag POSTER in 1978, in a piece about a Jones/Jett love affair. Steve (and Paul Cook) played on Joan Jett's first album as well as on the original 1979 demo version of 'I love Rock'n'roll', now available on Joan Jett's 'Flashback' CD, along with her version of 'EMI', called 'MCA'. The Runaways recorded 'Black Leather', available on the LP 'And Now: The Runaways', also released on 'Little Lost Girls' pic disc. Joan Jett recorded 'Pretty Vacant' for the album 'Hit List', the song was also released as a 7'' single. |
