British talent fails to be recognisedJames Blunt was among a host of British stars who missed out on gaining a Grammy. The singer, 32, was nominated for an impressive five awards at the American ceremony on Sunday night but failed to walk away with anything. He was in good company though. The Arctic Monkeys, Corinne Bailey Rae, Natasha Bedingfield and the Pet Shop Boys also missed out. Speaking before the event James had resigned himself to the fact he probably wouldn't win. 'It's not really a competition,' he told The Sun. I'm not really expecting anything.' Let's hope the lavish after-show party helped to lift his spirits.
