The PistolsThe Wheatsheaf, Leighton Buzzard Friday, October 6Sex Pistols tribute band, The Pistols, are coming to Leighton Buzzard. The London-based band will be playing at The Wheatsheaf in North Street on October 6. The band say they uses real punk rock and are the closest thing to the original Sex Pistols you are ever likely to see. The band were formed in 2004 by Paul – a self confessed Sex Pistols fan. He has been in several bands, both original and cover, over the years and set about forming his own tribute to his favourite band. Two years on and The Pistols have gone from strength to strength, playing just about everything the Sex Pistols ever recorded including God Save the Queen, Anarchy in the UK, Holidays in the Sun and Pretty Vacant. The band will also play some PiL tracks and several Sid Vicious songs. Entrance for this event is free and the performance starts at approximately 9pm. Call 01525 374611 for more information.
